In my recent post about panoramic images I had an example of a DLSR being used to create a high resolution version of an image I had snapped using the Ricoh THETA V. Here is the process i followed to stitch the images together using Adobe Lightroom.
For this process I used a Cannon 5D MK III for the camera which produces the .cr2 raw image format, using raw is not a requirement however it will usually provide better results compared to .jpg (due to no compression).
